Workshops and Classes

Community Health Education Program

We conduct a series of educational workshops and seminars that you might find interesting. They are part of our Community Health Education Program. The purpose of this program is to increase awareness of natural solutions to common health care issues and to facilitate communication between doctors and patients. They are held in our office as well as at other locations in Monroe, Spotswood, East Brunswick, Old Bridge, South River, Jamesburg, Manalpan, Marlboro and the surrounding communities.

• Treatment of Neck and Shoulder Pain
• Basics of Healthy Eating
• Total Wellness: with exercise, diet and lifestyle changes.
• Stress Reduction
• Preventing and Reversing Osteoporosis
• Preventing Hip Arthritis and Hip Replacement Surgery
• Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
• Shoulder Problems of the Rotator Cuff
• Golf Fitness: exercise and therapy to improve your swing

The presentations are about 1 hour. They include the most up to date information from the fields of medicine, chiropractic, ergonomics, physical therapy, and mind-body research.

Incidentally, if you are interested in having Dr. Schwartz speak to a group you are involved with please let us know. Interested groups would include; co-workers, woman's and men's groups, religious groups, support groups, volunteer and community service groups: Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, 4-H, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, Veterans, AARP, educational and trade associations, knitting groups, golf or other sports groups, etc. As you can see this list of possibilities is rather long. Basically any group of people can benefit from hearing this information and Dr.Schwartz will speak to any size of group as well.
